The Inspiration - A young motor sport fan inspired his mother
Award winning entrepreneur Marina Nicholas founded RaceWorld TV after observing her son’s online activity. Bruno, a young motor sport fan, would visit the YouTube channels of his favorite race teams and drivers individually to watch the behind the scene videos they produced. It was increasingly difficult for Bruno to find what he was looking for and took an enormous amount of time. He was like a treasure hunter seeking out great motor sport moments in an ocean of millions of videos.
As a family they enjoyed the easy viewing experience of VEVO, a streaming music video channel with hundreds of artists and thousands of videos in one destination.
Two curious questions followed. Is there ONE destination to watch videos from the world of motor sport? Are the videos produced by race teams, drivers and Vloggers broadcast on a terrestrial TV channel?
Marina’s AHA moment!
Further research led to three key discoveries.
There is a need to create order out of chaos. Create Treasure Island. One destination that enhances the viewing experience for motor sport fans and increases the discoverability for motor sport content producers. The idea for RaceWorld TV was born!

How We’ve Grown
In 2015, when RaceWorld TV launched, there were a 100 videos from a handful of motor sport video creators and YouTube channels. Now 30,000+ third party and network partner videos have been curated and categorised, with 350+ new videos added every week and new motor sport video creators joining daily. And from a small team managing a single platform, the RaceWorld TV YouTube channel, we’ve grown into a passionate team managing a multi-platform video distribution network spanning Smart TV’s (Samsung, Sony), Streaming Media Devices (Roku, Amazon Fire, Apple TV), Smartphones (iOS, Android) and Tablets, PC & Laptop, RaceWorld TV App and social media.

Everywhere! Becoming the fastest growing motor sport video channel is just the beginning of a very exciting journey. We wish to follow the success of other SVOD channels like VEVO and Netflix. Vevo has a portfolio of 140,000 music videos from 1,100 artists and Netflix has 80,000 movies available to watch on all internet connected devices.
We like the idea that we are ‘matchmakers’ connecting fans with amazing content from video producers around the world.
